ELKTON, VA – Summit Ridge Energy (SRE), recognized as a leading solar developer, proudly announced the recent energization of their Scenic Farms Shared Solar Project, a 4.1-megawatt solar installation located in Virginia. This initiative is part of the state’s expanded Shared Solar program, offering innovative solutions for consumers seeking solar energy credits without the need for individual installations.

As part of the official unveiling of this facility, numerous state officials and leaders from Summit Ridge participated in a community-focused event. Notably, Deputy Secretary of Commerce & Trade and the House of Delegates Majority Leader joined key investors, highlighting the project’s importance to community engagement and support for green energy initiatives.

Summit Ridge Energy’s construction and operational plans represent a significant investment in Virginia, totaling $250 million. This endeavor is set to create over 1,000 jobs, benefiting local construction workers and businesses.
