Summit Ridge Energy LLC closed a tax equity partnership with NT Solar to finance 11 community solar projects across Illinois and Maryland.

The 27-MWdc community solar portfolio is expected to be placed in service this 2020, according to a Dec. 9 news release.

Summit Ridge Energy currently has 47 community solar projects in operation or under construction across the U.S. It plans to begin construction of another 25 projects by the end of the second quarter of 2021.

NT Solar is a subsidiary of the National Trust Community Investment Corp.
